As the second chapter in our program, the Five Elements Qigong course is designed for everyone, including absolute beginners. This practice focuses on five animal-inspired movements—Dragon, Tiger, Leopard, Snake, and Crane—to stretch meridians and open joints, strengthening your body both externally and internally. Each animal form corresponds to one of the five elements and nourishes a specific organ: Water (Kidney), Metal (Lung), Wood (Liver), Earth (Spleen), and Fire (Heart).
This form is best practiced in the morning to consolidate your vital energy and strengthen your body's Yang. As the saying goes, "When Yang energy is sufficient, disease stays away." After practice, you will often feel a sense of clarity and renewed vitality.
