As the fourth and final chapter in our program, Tai He Quan is the essence of Wudang Tai Chi. This form, comprised of 22 movements (the sum of the 10 Heavenly Stems and 12 Earthly Branches), embodies the principles of Tai Chi, Yin and Yang, Five Elements, and the Eight Trigrams. Its practice is simple and unadorned, evoking the spirit of a hermit in the mountains and a crane in a peaceful valley. Tai He is about "Great Harmony"—when your body, mind, and spirit move as one, every part of your being, from your limbs to your cells, works together in perfect unison.
